Awesome RO at Any Price

I've had two of these now and they are fantastic. The most recent house we bought had a culligan system with their "proprietary" filters- meaning you can't buy them outside of having their tech come and swap them out for you for hundreds of dollars. Geekpure uses filters you can buy almost anywhere. This one came with two sets.Installation is easy. The biggest mistake is not firmly seating the tubes. Cut them straight and make sure they seat and you'll be fine. Mount it, don't let it sit on the filter housing. The water quality was an instant upgrade over the culligan system.

Great tasting water

After growing tired of constantly purchasing and hauling water jugs from the store, I decided to invest in this filtration system - and Im very satisfied with it. The system performs very well, particularly in addressing the poor taste of my city's tap water. Since installation, the filtered water has been consistently excellent: crystal clear, completely odorless, and with a nice taste. The system's water pressure and flow rate from the storage tank are really good. While the installation process is relatively straightforward, the time required can vary depending on your attention to detail and plumbing experience. Though the instruction manual isn't particularly comprehensive, it contains sufficient information to complete the setup successfully. One observation from my experience: despite following the manual's instructions to flush the first three stages for 15 minutes and flushing the tank a few times, the water still had some weird taste. I did an additional step to improve the results: fill the tank, allow the water to sit for 24 hours and then flushing it out all out, and repeating this a second time, produced great tasting water. This extra step likely helped eliminate any residual manufacturing materials from both the tank and system components.Regarding technical specifications, while the tank came pre-pressurized at 5.5 PSI, I made an immediate adjustment to increase it to 9 PSI, given 6-10 PSI is the general recommended pressure in many sources.

Good product, some parts are low quality

For the filter, tank and faucet i have 0 complaints. The supply valve is low quality and the male connection that runs the supply back out to your original faucet line is extremely easy to crossthread and ruin. Pick up a metal threaded one from either your local store or online. The drain saddle secures to the drain pipe just fine but the port for the drain line from the filter does not secure properly -the threads of the securing nut do not even engage on the saddle so i will be replacing this as well. It works but isnt actually secured. My standard tap water tests around 50-60 total dissolved solids and the filter i have in my Refrigerator tests exactly the same. After running this through the purge and connecting it to the faucet and my Refrigerator through some extra plumbing i am testing the water from this RO system at 10ppm TDS or less. I do appreciate the extra filters but pay attention to contents as there are spares for everything except the membrane.

Great Water Filtration System!

The Geekpure 5-stage reverse osmosis water filtration system is a great system. This is the third one that we've purchased (for ourselves and our two adult sons). It's easy to install, super reliable, and produces high quality water. Highly recommend.
