Note:
1. This filter housing has a maximum operating pressure rating of 90 psi, if you suspect that your water pressure will at any time exceed 80 psi, a pressure regulator MUST BE INSTALLED before the filter housing. this action will guard against the water pressure exceeding the maximum pressure rating.it is recommended that the pressure regulator be set at 60 psi or less.
2. In inlet/outlet thread part,please wrap ENOUGH seal tape. Teflon tape, then a layer of joint compound or other glue could be used for metal and stainless steel material, then Teflon tape again. almost all leaking could be fixed.
3. Please remove canisters from the caps, clean the O ring surfaces and re lubricate. the rubber o-ring provides the water tight seal between the cap and the sump. it is important that the o-ring be properly seated in the groove of a water leak could occur.
4. By using the supplied wrench and making very tight. you may search "whole house water filter " on YouTube, there is some video about similar system installation, it is very helpful if it is the first time to install it.
5. Protect filter housing from freezing.
6. Please Run water for about 10-15 minutes when you replace filters every time, it is normal if black carbon fines to appear in the water when flush filters, and the water produced should be emptied and not used.

Installed the system a few months after it arrived to find the 10” filter housing was cracked at the factory inlet near the UV unit.I had to remove this filter housing and order a replacement.
The unit came in with everything you need to get the filtration system installed. Make sure to use the Teflon tape for the fittings to get a good seal on both the input and output ports. The water pressure, especially for a well water system, was perfect for the house. The amount of sediment, odor, etc. that is filtered out is great! The replacement filters are a little expensive but the value for the total system is worth it!
Just finished installing andI had high hopes for this whole house water filter, but it has been a major disappointment from start to finish. Right out of the box, the unit itself doesn’t feel like solid, high-quality equipment. For something that’s supposed to handle your entire home’s water supply, it feels surprisingly flimsy and not built to last. Not to mention it leaked connecting to the UV.After having it professionally plumbed correctly, the biggest issue became immediately clear: it drastically reduced our water pressure. Showers are now barely acceptable, with very minimal flow, which completely defeats the purpose of installing a “premium” whole house system. Daily use has become frustrating, especially when showering or running multiple fixtures.Despite going through all of the filters, I’ve noticed little to no difference in water taste or quality, which makes the performance even more disappointing given the cost. To make matters worse, replacing the filters after about six months is going to cost nearly half the price of the unit itself, which feels unreasonable for something that isn’t delivering noticeable results.Unfortunately, I’m now stuck with it. so I’m left with an expensive system that underperforms and negatively impacts everyday waterI would not recommend purchasing this product. Between the poor build quality, severe drop in water pressure, minimal improvement in water quality, and high ongoing filter costs, it simply isn’t worth the investment.
This product works wonderfully and when we did receive it one of the filters was broken and the company sent us a replacement right away. Most definitely would recommend! Very easy to install as well. My husband did not have a hard time at all.
Put this in my Pop’s house. F*^#ing awesome. There is a couple of small issues regarding gauge install but if you are going to DIY you best be prepared for a “tiny” challenge of don’t even bother putting on your big boy pants on! The only thing I was worried about was loading water pressure but believe it or not. I actually gained about two or three psi and average around 51.5-52 ; It was around 49 to 50. Maybe because I cleaned out the regulator/reducer. I don’t know? But it’s working fantastic with no pressure reduction. Water tastes great, no difference in the showerhead or the faucets. I added a Moen auto shut-off and a couple other features of course, and so far so good! Well worth the price.
